My outreach program has three main components
Elementary levelI partnered with a nonprofit, Science Delivered, and others to develop a 5th grade science curriculum focused on Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and wildlife ecology. Click the button below to visit the website, kindly hosted by Science Delivered, and download the materials -
for free! I also visit classes, as feasible and virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic, that have utilized the lessons. My first visit was with Fuente Nueva Charter School, a Spanish immersion school in Arcata, CA. It was great to hear what the students learned!
